SPEAK OUT training 3 : Recruitment & auditions
3-5 SEPT 2024, La Central del Circ & Centro de las Artes del Circo Rogelio Rivel (ESP)
Our 3rd and last SPEAK OUT training session took place in Catalonia (ESP). The programme has focused on recruitment and auditions. Participants left with tools to address situations conducive to discrimination within circus organisations.

The training sessions were designed to implement structural changes regarding discrimination and gender-based violence.
The aim was to question the unconscious biases when welcoming new students/staff members/artists in organisations (schools, artistic companies, festivals...) and to prevent discrimination and abusive conducts in these processes.
After the training, participants had the chance to stay and enjoy FiraTàrrega, a fantastic outdoor arts festival (6-7 September)!
