Cirkuscentrum

Cirkuscentrum is a national non-profit organization and a knowledgeable actor dedicated to supporting circus arts.

We promote performances and activities of our members, provide information to those seeking to learn more about circus, support artistic development, offer daily training and professional development, and work to improve the infrastructure and working conditions for professional circus artists.

Cirkuscentrum strive to convey to politicians and public officials the significant role circus plays in society, both at an individual and societal level. We do this to underscore the necessity of municipal, regional, and government support for the sector.

We emphasize the significance of dedicated spaces for training, the opportunity to engage audiences in diverse venues, and the importance of fostering creativity and innovation to ensure a conducive environment for the continuous development of the art form and for the individual artists.

By highlighting how circus enriches individual lives, fosters community solidarity, and contributes to cultural diversity, we aim to garner support for initiatives that sustain and enhance the sector's growth and impact. In short, we work for a vibrant, diverse, and innovative circus art throughout Sweden, fostering connections both nationally and internationally.
