HOP

Hop is a plataform created in 2020 with the commitment to strengthening the new circus in chile, supporting its actors from their professional search, information from schools, residency instances, knowledge exchange and collaborations. It was created to support, accompany the process, legitimize and strengthen the practices of the new circus in the performing arts environment.

The goals

• Strengthening the new circus in chile,
• Supporting its actors from their professional search
• Give information from schools and residency instances
• Bring knowledge exchange and collaborations.
• Build bridges between schools that professionalize the new circus abroad and those who wish to complete their preparatory or formal studies in this area, since this type of school is very scarce in chile.

HOP was created to support, accompany the process, legitimize and strengthen the practices of the new circus in the performing arts environment.

Activities

• Information gathering
• Generate meeting spaces for networking
• Organise workshops transdisciplinary
• Give diffusion consultancies in application and training processes abroad.
• Scholarships raising public or private funds to offer scholarships for specialization
