The FSU Circus is an extra-curricular activity under the Division of Student Affairs created in 1947. This program was created to integrate men and women when FSU became a co-ed institution and is still an activity for male and female students to participate in jointly. All the participants are students at the University.
The Florida State University Circus generates its own revenue by :
As many as 20 different acts are trained in a season and up to 100 students are involved in the annual showcase performance each spring.
