Founded in 2009, the main vocation of the Swiss Federation of Circus Schools is to promote, give value and have circus arts recognised by public authorities (artists, teachers and the vocational training system). It aims also to strengthen links between different linguistic regions in Switzerland and organise students and teachers’ exchanges. It intends to promote and ensure Ethics, Health and Safety principles highlighted in a common Charter. To this end, the Federation develops links and relationships with local, regional, and federal authorities.

37 circus schools (including 3 vocational) throughout the Swiss territory and its 3 linguistic regions.
