Established in 1961, the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Performing and Circus Arts offers a distinctive higher education experience with bachelor's and master's degree programs.

The academy trains internationally skilled professionals in various disciplines, including singing, dancing, acting, production, and circus arts such as juggling, clowning, gymnastics, acrobatics, equilibristics, pantomime, illusion, and manipulation. Over its 60-year history, the academy has produced graduates who excel in top circuses, theaters, and global pop shows, many of whom have become renowned figures in European and Ukrainian show business.

Kyiv Municipal Academy of Performing and Circus Arts is currently located in a building with four floors, with various classes for studying choreography, vocal training, puppetry, pantomime, acting, directing, and the academy's management staff are housed. It's important to note that this building is owned by the city government of Kyiv.

While the academy operates within the provided building, it currently does not possess its own dedicated training base for circus arts. As a result, the academy is renting additional space to accommodate the requirements of circus arts training. This arrangement allows the academy to provide a comprehensive curriculum and training experience for its students, encompassing a variety of performing arts disciplines.
