Junior Wildcard for emerging street performers

The Junior Wildcard program is now open for applications for the 2025 Street Performance Festivals in Germany and Austria!

This is a fantastic chance for new and upcoming street performers—especially circus students and recent graduates—to gain professional street theatre experience in a supportive environment.

What is the Junior Wildcard?

The Junior Wildcard is for performers with a promising street show but limited references. It offers the chance to perform at a professional festival and receive valuable feedback from fellow artists and festival organizers.

For 2025, 2 Junior Wildcards are available for the following festivals:

• StreetFESTIVAL Werne (Germany, August 29–31, 2025)
• BRAVISSIMO St. Pölten (Austria, September 5–6, 2025)

What You Get:

• Travel allowance and accommodation
• Catering (just like all the other artists)
• 3–4 performances (up to 5 in Werne, a 3-day festival)
• Constructive feedback on your performance and application from festival organizers and fellow artists
