The training course ‘Towards new dramaturgical writing where music and movement exist together’ is being organised by Superstrat - Association Regards et Mouvements with Julie Mondor from Wednesday 8 to Thursday 16 January 2025 at the Espace Culture La Buire in L'Horme.
It is aimed at improvising musicians, circus artists, dancers and performers. Double-profiles are possible (practising both music and movement), as are voice practitioners (singing, sound poetry, etc.).
The aim of this course is to bring together the various practices of music and movement to explore new dramatic writing through structured improvisations and compositional work.
The aim is to get to know each other, to put words to the other's discipline, to understand the realities and constraints of each practice in order to find a common language.
We will move away from the simple juxtaposition of movement work and musical work, and avoid the musical illustration of performance in order to explore other forms of relationship, interrelation and new balances of sound and body.
