The RIGGERS EU project closing event took place on Thursday 11 April 2024 in Antwerp (BEL).
This unique event is organized by FEDEC and Stockholm University of the Arts in partnership with Circuscentrum, as part of the "Circus - a safe(r) space for danger" conference on technical, physical and psycho-social safety in circus, in parallel with the MAD festival.

- 13:00 - Welcome (free access with registration)
- 13:15 - Workshop: RIGGERS project results (free access with registration)
- 15:00 - Closing panel 'On safety and risk-taking' (accessible with the festival pass)
- 17:00 - MAD Festival opening (accessible with the festival pass)
Over the past 2 years, RIGGERS has enabled the creation of an international rigging community, as well as the deployment of numerous activities aimed at improving safety measures in professional circus schools: visits and exchanges, seminars, masterclasses, FED-Talks, and even a survey of the circus school rigger profession.
